draconic month (plural draconic months)

  1. A period of time between two consecutive passages of the Moon through the same orbital node. The draconic month is shorter than the sidereal month, due to precession of the Moon's orbit. It equals approximately 27 days 5 hours 5 minutes 35.8 seconds.
