bioboy
English

Blend of biological + boy.

- 2007, Reid Vanderburgh, Transition and Beyond: Observations on Gender Identity, →ISBN, page 143:
- "I'm afraid I'll disappoint her by not being enough like a bioboy." Raymond was not talking about sex. He was finding it difficult to navigate issues such as, "Is she expecting me to hold the door for her?"
Usage notes
- The term is now sometimes considered derogatory to trans people, as it ignores the idea that being transgender also has a biological basis.
