Etymology
Inherited from Ottoman Turkish آرقهدن آرقهیه (arḳadan arḳaya),[1] from آرقه (arḳa),[2] equivalent to arka (“back, rear, behind”) + -dan (ablative suffix) + arka + -(y)a (dative suffix with "y" as buffer consonant), literally “from behind to behind”.
