Inherited from Ottoman Turkish آرقه‌دن آرقه‌یه (arḳadan arḳaya),[1] from آرقه (arḳa),[2] equivalent to arka (back, rear, behind) + -dan (ablative suffix) + arka + -(y)a (dative suffix with "y" as buffer consonant), literally from behind to behind.
