air quote (plural air quotes) (usually in the plural)
- A typically two-handed gesture resembling quotation marks.
- Synonym: finger quote

- (by extension) An emphatic tone of voice used to indicate a euphemism, or displeasure with a false or inaccurate phrase being quoted.
