  1. (Chester) When the eyes of a potato tuber have germinated before the potato was got up, and have formed a number of small unripe tubers attached to the old, supertuberation.[1]
  2. (Chester) When the axillary buds on the stem of a potato grow into small green tubers, as is often the case in wet seasons.[1]
