Sint Antoniusveld
Dutch
Etymology
First attested as Lull in 1803-1820. Derived from the name of Saint Anthony the Great and veld (“field”). The name replaced the earlier toponym Lull, which suffered from unfortunate homophony.
Pronunciation
- IPA(key): /ˈsɪnt ɑnˈtoː.ni.ʏsˌvɛlt/
- Hyphenation: Sint An‧to‧ni‧us‧veld
