Panmunjom

1. A tiny, uninhabited hamlet in Korea, in the center of the demilitarized zone, where the North and South Korean governments meet.

   The Armistice meetings held at Panmunjom from 1951 to 1953 resulted in the cessation of hostilities in the peninsula.
