Etymology
From Slovak kravec (“tailor”), Belarusian кравец (kravjec, “tailor”), Ukrainian кравець (kravecʹ, “tailor”), or Polish krawiec (“tailor”). Ultimately from Proto-Slavic *kravьcь (compare *krojiti).[1]
