Fordson (plural Fordsons)

  1. A make of motor vehicle, notably tractors, produced by the Ford Motor Company. The name was dropped in 1964 and replaced by Ford.

      For working the reinstated passenger service last summer, the large Fordson tractor, normally employed on the stone trains, was used.
