Fjollträsk
Swedish
Etymology
fjolla (“sissy”) + träsk (“place name suffix common in the far north of Sweden, especially in Västerbotten – often refers to a lake, though the usual meaning of träsk is swamp”)
Usage notes
Can play into two different stereotypes: Stockholmers as unmasculine, and negative views of Stockholm in the north of Sweden (also for political or other reasons). Often tongue-in-cheek.
