Usage notes
Authorities disagree as to the usage of the terms Caudata and Urodela. Some name the crown group Urodela, using Caudata for the total group. Others do the opposite, using Caudata for the crown group and Urodela for the total group. The former approach appears to be the one most widely adopted. See
