Blend of charge + de + move (charge and then move). Punning on the Japanese abbreviated phrase. From Japanese 茶でも (cha-demo, “Tea?”), from Japanese お茶でもどうですか (O-cha demo ikaga desu-ka, “How about a cup of tea?”).
