Etymology

Identified in 2013 by Lisa-Ann Gershwin and Peter Davie. Genus name is from bazinga, a type of harp as well as an interjection indicating a trick or prank, because they presume it had been mistaken for juveniles of other species; see Bazinga. Species name acknowledges Denis Riek, who photographed specimens.
