- (Zoroastrianism) Avestan and Middle Persian name of the Zoroastrian divinity that is the hypostasis of the sky. Asman is the "highest heaven," and is distinguished from the firmament, π¬π¬‘π¬π¬΄π¬β (ΞΈΞ²ΔαΉ£Μa), which lies nearer the earth.
