Production
- This one-handed ASL sign is produced usually with a pleasant smile, often with eyes closed by the end of the sign:
- Posture the dominant hand in the “5” handshape near the dominant cheek, dominant palm facing back.
- Move the hand in a circle around the entire face (up the dominant side, across, down, and back to the dominant side), ending with a closing of the fingers into the following posture.
- Posture the dominant hand in the “open A” handshape near the dominant jaw, dominant palm facing back.
- Hold the final posture briefly.
- The sign may be produced quickly to mention beauty in passing or it may be produced slowly for emphasis.
- Optionally shake the hand in the final posture for emphasis.
