-ым • (-ım)

1. First-person singular possessive suffix denoting singular possession in words ending in a consonant.

   ‎кыз (qız, “cherry”) + ‎-ым (-ım) → ‎кызым (qızım, “my cherry”)

• If the noun ends in a vowel, it becomes "-м" (for the possession suffix)

  ‎коло (qolo) + ‎-ым (-ım) → ‎колом (qolom)

• It's used only when the word ends in a vowel. It may change into "-им", "-ум", and "-үм" according to the last vowel of the word. (possession suffix)

  ‎кийим (kiyim) + ‎-ым (-ım) → ‎кийимим (kiyimim) (the last vowel is "e" or "i")

  ‎кол (qol) + ‎-ым (-ım) → ‎колум (qolum) (the last vowel is "o" or "u")

  ‎үй (üy) + ‎-ым (-ım) → ‎үйүм (üyüm) (the last vowel is "ö" or "ü")
