Cognate with Northern Thai ᩁᩮᩬᩥᩁ, Isan เฮือน, Lao ເຮືອນ (hư̄an), Lü ᦵᦣᦲᧃ (hoen), Tai Dam ꪹꪭꪙ, Shan ႁိူၼ်း (hóen), Tai Nüa ᥞᥫᥢᥰ (höen), Ahom 𑜍𑜢𑜤𑜃𑜫 (rün), Bouyei raanz, Zhuang ranz, Zuojiang Zhuang rwenz.
