Etymology 1
현자(賢者) (hyeonja) + 타임 (taim), calque of Japanese 賢者タイム (kenja taimu, “post-nut clarity”).
Etymology 2
A non-vulgar reanalysis of the above as an abbreviation of 현실(現實) 자각(自覺) 타임 (hyeonsil jagak taim, “reality perception moment”).
The new interpretation retains a metaphoric extension of the original meaning, but in a non-sexual way. Many Koreans are not aware of the original etymology, and the word has appeared in TV programs for general audiences.
