Etymology
Shortening of 내가 하면 로맨스, 남이 하면 불륜 (nae-ga ha-myeon romaenseu, nam-i ha-myeon bullyun, “If I do it, it's romance. But If others do it, it's just an affair.”) to four characters, giving it the appearance of a chengyu. Quoted from then Korean National Assembly member and later speaker Park Hee-tae's speech in criticism against the opposition party led by Kim Dae-jung in 1996.
