고려말
Korean
Etymology
From 고려 (goryeo, “Korea”) + 말 (mal, “spoken language”). Among modern Koryo-mar speakers, the originally used 조선말 (joseonmal) seems to have been significantly replaced by this term.
Pronunciation
- (SK Standard/Seoul) IPA(key): [ko̞ɾjʌ̹ma̠ɭ]
- Phonetic hangul: [고려말]
