つくみ (tukumi₁)

  1. (hapax) The meaning of this term is uncertain. The Jidai Betsu Kokugo Daijiten Jōdai-hen says "Although [one could speculate] it is like a part of a house fixture, [the exact meaning is] unknown."[1]

      It is not clear whether 止 is a transliteration of to₂ or has the meaning 'stop'.
