Etymology
From ぞっと (“fear, disgust”) + しない, the negative form of する (“do”).[1] Compare ぞっとする (“shudder from fear, be disgusted”).

ぞっとしない • (zottoshinai) -i (adverbial ぞっとしなく (zottoshinaku))
- unappealing, not desirable, unimpressive
- 馬肉を食べるってぞっとしない。
- Baniku o taberu tte zottoshinai.
- I have no desire to eat horse meat.
