ὀλός

See also: όλος and ὅλος

Ancient Greek

Etymology

Unclear. A cross between θολός (tholós, ink of the cuttlefish) and ὀρός (orós, whey), as assumed by Frisk, is improbable. A Pre-Greek word is possible.
