Ἀριαράμνης
Ancient Greek
Etymology
From Old Persian 𐎠𐎼𐎡𐎹𐎠𐎼𐎶𐎴 (a-r-i-y-a-r-m-n /Aryāramna-/, literally “the one who creates peace for the Aryans”),[1] from 𐎠𐎼𐎡𐎹 (a-r-i-y, “Aryan”) + 𐎼𐎶𐎴 (r-m-n, “peace”, probably from Proto-Indo-European *h₁rem- (“to rest”) (compare Persian رامش (“delight, joy”) and آرام (“rest, peace”), from the same root)).
