Cognate with Thai ฝัง (fǎng), Lao ຝັງ (fang), Northern Thai ᨺᩢ᩠ᨦ, Shan ၽင် (phǎng) or ၾင် (fǎng), Tai Nüa ᥜᥒᥴ (fáng), Tai Dam ꪠꪰꪉ, Ahom 𑜇𑜞𑜂𑜫 (phraṅ), Zuojiang Zhuang paeng, Zhuang baeng.
