ᓯᐱᓂᖅ (Latin sipiniq, plural ᓯᐱᓃᑦ)

  1. intersex person, person born with ambiguous genitalia, person with genitalia which (in the Inuit belief) changed at birth
  2. person raised in a gender that does not match their birth sex (i.e. a female-bodied person raised as a male, or a male-bodied person raised as a female)
