Etymology
Possibly from ᄉᆞᆯ (sol-, “to crush”) + 아기 (-aki, diminutive suffix). See also Middle Korean ᄇᆞᅀᆞ라기 (pozolaki, “fragment”), Korean 군더더기 (gundeodeogi, “unnecessity”), 쓰레기 (sseuregi, “garbage”) for the same suffix.
