სიგრძე

Georgian

Etymology

From Old Georgian სიგრძჱ (sigrʒē). Equivalent to modern გრძ-ელი (grʒ-eli, long) + სი- -ე (si- -e, abstract noun-forming circumfix).

As often occurs with this circumfix, its addition led to the loss of the adjective ending -ელი (-eli).

  • Hyphenation: სიგ‧რძე

Noun

სიგრძე • (sigrʒe) (uncountable)
