Usage notes

  • It takes the forms ვი (vi) (Atina,Chanapeti,Chenneti) and ვითი (viti) (Artasheni,Khopa) in front of some consonant groups. For example; ვი ნდღა (vi ndğa, ten days) and ვითი ნდღა (viti ndğa, ten days)
  • In some localities, the /n/ at the beginning of the following consonant group is lost. For example; ნამობოგამ ფარათე ვით დღაზ ისქიდინენ (namobogam parate vit dğaz iskidinen, I can live just ten days with the money I earned).
