ကျေးဇူး
Burmese
Etymology
Inherited from Old Burmese က္လဉ်ဇော (klañjo). Said by the Myanmar–English Dictionary to be borrowed from Pali kataññutā (“gratitude”), from Sanskrit कृतज्ञता (kṛtajñatā, “gratitude”), but this seems phonologically unlikely.
