Etymology
Possibly from Old Khmer កដាហ (kaṭāha), កទាហ (kadāha), គទាហ (gadāha), ខ្ទាះហ (khdāḥha, “frying pan”), and thus cognate with Modern Khmer ខ្ទះ (khtĕəh).
