Etymology
Inherited from Old Gujarati ऊन्हालउ (ūnhālaü), from Gurjar Apabhramsa उन्हाल (unhāla), उण्हाल (uṇhhāla) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓- (-ka-), from Sanskrit उष्णकाल (uṣṇakāla).[1] Doublet of ઉષ્ણકાલ (uṣṇakāl). Cognate with Marathi उन्हाळा (unhāḷā), Punjabi ਹੁਨਾਲਾ (hunālā), and Sindhi اُونهارو (ūnhāro).
