     ṛ́dhaksā́ vo maruto didyúdastu yádva ā́gaḥ puruṣátā kárāma .
     mā́ vastásyāmápi bhūmā yajatrā asmé vo astu sumatíścániṣṭhā .

     Far from us be your blazing dart, O Maruts, when we, through human frailty, commit a sin against you.
