Borrowed from Northwestern Indo-Aryan (whence Punjabi ਅੱਛਾ (acchā)), from Prakrit 𑀅𑀘𑁆𑀙 (accha), from Sanskrit अच्छ (accha). Displaced native आछा (āchā), from the same source.[1]
