From Akkadian ṣuṣūnum. Not found in Classical Syriac. Displaced the native Aramaic form that was cognate to Classical Syriac ܥܙܪܪܬܐ (ʿazrārtā) and Turoyo ܥܙܪܢܬܐ (czrnto).
