Etymology
Inherited from Proto-Turkic *bürge (“flea”); cognate with Azerbaijani birə, Bashkir бөрсә (börsə), Kazakh бүрге (bürge), Kyrgyz [script needed] (bürgö), Turkmen büre, Uyghur بۈرگە (bürge) and Uzbek burga.
