The meaning of wrapped cloths may instead be from Sogdian, found prefixed with ni- in Sogdian [script needed] (nɣʾwntʾk, “blanket”), [script needed] (nɣʾwntʾ-, “to dress, to cover”) = Persian نهفتن (nehoftan).
