      s-sanbūsaqu ḡalīẓun ṭawīlu l-wuqūfi fī l-maʕidati muʕṭišun mubaḵḵirun ʔilā r-raʔsi, yanbaḡī ʔan yuʔkala bi-l-ḵalli, wal-muttaḵaḏu minhu bi-l-ḵassi wal-qarʕi wal-kuzbarati wa-naḥwi-hā bi-dahni l-lawzi waṣudūri l-farārīḵi yuraṭṭibu d-dimāḡa wayuskinu min ḥarārati-hī.
The samosa is thick and persistent in the maw, makes thirst and steams the head, and it is desirable that it is eaten with vinegar; and taken with lettuce, gourd, coriander and the like and with almond oil and chicken breasts it dampens the brain and soothens its heat.
