Borrowed from Arabic زِينَة (zīna, “ornament, decoration, embellishment”); compare Azerbaijani ziynət, Kazakh зейнет (zeinet), Turkmen zynat, Uyghur زىننەت (zinnet) and Uzbek ziynat.
