From a Middle Persian compound term the constituents of which are equivalent to Avestan 𐬭𐬀𐬉𐬚𐬎𐬎𐬀 (raēθuua, “mélange”) and Persian آچار (âčâr, “pickle”) or its second part Persian چار (čâr, “means, remedy”), Avestan 𐬗𐬁𐬭𐬁 (cārā, “means, remedy”).
