دݣزلی
Ottoman Turkish

Denizli province
Alternative forms
- دكزلی (Deñizli)
Etymology
Morphologically from دݣز (deñiz, “sea”) + ـلی (-li), but this is probably a mispronunciation of the older form طوڭوزلی (Doñuzlu), from طوڭوز (doñuz, “pig, swine”) + ـلی (-lu).
Descendants
- Turkish: Denizli
- → Armenian: Տէնիզլի (Tēnizli)
