حشو • (ḥašu) m (usually uncountable)

  1. stuffing, coating, small side recipe added on top of a main food item.
    ما آكل زبيدي بدون حشو
    mā ākil zbēdi bidūn ḥašu
    I don't eat pomfret without coating
  2. unnecessary or redundant details and information.
