برنز
Persian
Etymology
Borrowed from French bronze, itself from Italian bronzo. See there for further information, but perhaps ultimately a twice-borrowed term from Persian برنج (berenj, “brass”) or Persian پرنگ (pereng, “copper”). Nowadays more common than older مفرغ (mefrağ), from Arabic.
