Definite feminine of أَغْبَر (ʾaḡbar, “dust-colored”), used as a noun; literally "the dust-colored (place)". Compare دُنْيَا (dunyā, “world”), originally the feminine of أَدْنَى (ʾadnā, “lower”), literally "lower (place)".
