Ultimately from Ancient Greek σκηνή (skēnḗ, “scene, stage”). Specifically via Russian сце́на (scéna, “stage, scene”), and reinforced by cognates (e.g. English scene).

סְצֵנָה • (s'tzéna) f (plural indefinite סְצֵנוֹת‎, singular construct סְצֵנַת־‎)

1. scene
   1. A part from a story that stands by itself and is a part of a complete fiction writing or film.
   2. The location of an event that attracts attention.
   3. A dramatic and exaggerated behaviour, an act that brings unnecessary attention to oneself, especially through a public expression (as in to make a scene).

• The excessive spelling סצינה‎ is uncommon.
