טרוימען
Yiddish
Etymology
From Middle High German troumen, variant of tröumen, from Old High German troumen, from Proto-Germanic *draumijaną. Lack of umlaut on a long rounded vowel before a labial is a southern German development; compare Bavarian trama. The umlauted form would be *טריימען (*treymen).
