ג׳קוזי

Hebrew

Etymology

The origin of the word is in the Jacuzzi company, which was the first to create the jacuzzi. The company was named for its founders, the Jacuzzi brothers. The brothers were Italians who immigrated to the United States, and in their mother tongue their name was pronounced /ja.ku.tsi/, but the name of the company and therefore of the product is pronounced according to the way English speakers read it.
