Usage notes
  • A variety of terms may separate the two elements introduced by בין. The most common is probably ל־ (l'-, “to”) — as in, bēn X l'-Y — but the above quotations also demonstrate ובין (uvḗn, “and between”) and עד ('ad, “until”), and לבין (l'vḗn, “to between”) and ו־ (v'-, “and”) exist as well.
