     ‏וַתְּהִי רֵאשִׁית מַמְלַכְתּוֹ בָּבֶל וְאֶרֶךְ וְאַכַּד וְכַלְנֵה בְּאֶרֶץ שִׁנְעָר׃‎‎

     vat'hí reshít mamlakhtó bavél v'érekh v'akád v'khalné b'érets shin'ár.
     wattəhī rēšīṯ mamlaḵtō bāḇel wəʾéreḵ wəʾakkaḏ wəḵalnē bəʾéreṣ šinʿār.

     And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
