An Iranian borrowing: compare Northern Kurdish jûr,[1] cûr, Central Kurdish ژێڵ (jêll),[2] ھاڵەژێر (hallejêr, grapevine blossom)[3] and Persian غوره (ğure, unripe grapes, sour grapes).
